Drawing upon our collective experience of delivering BIM and information solutions to the construction sector we increasingly find partners and their clients disenchanted with the lack of cohesion and collaboration across the project lifecycle when it comes to BIM. We aim to liberate building data so it can be useful and commercially beneficial to all.

Our suite of products on the Flex platform are varied and can appeal to a huge range of companies. The more technical API’s within our product suite can easily be used by software vendors to develop and integrate BIM capabilities with their own product ranges.

Chief Research OfficerPrior to co-founding xbim Steve was Research Director of the National Building Specification; founder of the open-source xbim Toolkit; Professor of Building Modeling and Northumbria University; founder of BIM Academy.
Andy Ward
Chief Executive OfficerA software engineer who has spent decades developing SaaS software for the construction industry: he co-founded the BIM collaboration service ‘4Projects’ where he was CTO, which was acquired by Viewpoint, Bain Capital and recently Trimble.
Martin Cerny
Chief Technology OfficerSoftware engineer and major author of xbim open source. Martin has worked in academia as a Senior Researcher at Northumbria University, exploring the integration of BIM and GIS / geospatial data. Martin is an expert member of CEN TC442 WG2 and the Czech BIM Standards Agency.
